The Ford Transit van was as described and, for the price point, it met our minimum expectations. It got us where we needed to go and served its purpose for our trip.
However, there were a few issues that impacted the experience. The check engine light was on during our rental, and there was also a tire pressure warning notification displayed. While the van was still drivable, seeing warning lights can be concerning when you’re traveling.
The pick up process was also a bit confusing. We were unable to readily locate the code for the lockbox and as many travelers know, cell service around Destin Airport can be spotty. We ended up scrambling to communicate and find the code in nearly 100-degree weather. After several messages back and forth, the host eventually provided the information we could start the vehicle Overall, decent rental
