The only reason I didn’t rate it as “terrible” is because the pick up, communication, and automobile’s physical attributes of the transaction were great. What ruined the entire experience and rental was the fact the air conditioner did not work. It blew air, but not cold air at all. People sweating after getting ready to go to dinner. Stifling air due to not being able to roll down windows because of rain. The outside air was cooler than in the cabin of the vehicle. There was actual moisture inside the vehicle because of the humidity. I was completely inconvenienced when having to turn the car in early, missing the first part of an event, which was the reason for my trip.
It could’ve been a great experience. I do trust the host, I do not trust Turo. Horrible customer service of Turo with the issue…the host was great!

We encouraged an immediate return, but the vehicle was kept overnight and driven nearly 100 additional miles, contrary to our agreement. Turo’s customer service is outside our control, but we remained responsive and professional throughout, offering assistance and a prompt resolution.

Pick-up was super easy and the van was very clean. The van was perfect for our large family road trip. Very satisfied with our experience and will definitely use this company again!
