The company canceled my car with less than an hr because they “couldn’t find the car”
They didn’t have any sense of urgency to find me a replacement
They didn’t return calls
They found a poor replacement
Wasn’t clean and was missing side panels
The cost was more because of the “last min booking” - a scam reported all over Reddit
They said they were sorry and would make it right
But they offered only a small refund
And wouldn’t negotiate
It is a poorly run business
I hope someone from Turo reads this because I would not rent from Holo again
Probably lost a Turo user for life

The quality of this vehicle, the pickup, and the host were an absolute delight! The vehicle made our trip easy as well as comfortable. The pickup and dropoff instructions were easy to follow. The host was amazing to work with!

The tires looked bald so I took the car to discount tire to get the tires checked during our trip. They measured the tread and it was down to 2/32. They said it was unsafe to be driving the vehicle. There also was a deep gash in the front passenger tire that I had them check out as well. They said that it was dangerous and it needed to be replaced immediately. I reached out to the owner to inquire about the spare tire and tire jack just in case I needed to change the tire during our trip. They weren’t even sure if there was a spare tire and they didn’t know where the tire jack was located. The tire pressure was between 10 to 25 psi below the recommended specifications for the vehicle. The brake pad notification came on during our trip stating that the brake pads need to be serviced. When I picked up the vehicle, the mileage was over the limit for the oil change. And the sensor for the back left tire is not working. It made for a difficult trip because I was constantly worried that something was going to go wrong and I had to stop multiple times to get the vehicle checked out and the tire pressure corrected.
It’s a decent vehicle and the communication wasn’t bad, but please make sure the owner has done the proper maintenance on the vehicle before you decide to rent it.

The car was taken to Big O after this Trip and it has 4 brand new tires. The guest was still wanting to use the vehicle for his trip and did not ask for a different vehicle. We take safety seriously and maintaining affordable and reliable rentals.
