I wanted to leave an honest review of our experience because, while there were a couple of things the owners handled well, the overall situation was disappointing and raised serious safety concerns.
During our trip, we experienced a flat tire that appeared to have been caused by excessively worn tires. When we arrived home from the trip, we also noticed that another tire was in similarly poor condition, with the tread visibly showing. This made us question whether the vehicle had been properly inspected and maintained before being rented out.
To their credit, the owners responded quickly to our messages throughout the situation, and because the van was no longer safe to drive after the flat tire, they took responsibility for picking it up from our home instead of requiring us to return it to the original drop-off location. We appreciated that.
However, we were disappointed that they never acknowledged or took responsibility for the condition of the tires. We had to call AAA to change the spare tire, and the van did not even have the correct key/tool needed to remove the spare, making an already stressful situation even more difficult. Despite the inconvenience and the expenses we incurred, the owners never offered to reimburse us or provide any compensation.
Vehicle safety should always be a priority. Renting out a van with tires in this condition put our family at unnecessary risk, and while we appreciated their prompt communication and willingness to retrieve the vehicle, we believe the situation should have been handled with much greater accountability. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this rental service.

The van was very affordable and got us everywhere we needed to go without any issues. It did have some existing exterior damage, and the backup camera worked intermittently during our trip. The interior was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a good value for the price and served its purpose well.
