I had a very disappointing experience with this rental. First, the vehicle was dirty and it smelled horrible when I picked it up, to the point where I had to spend my own time and money getting it cleaned before using it.
The vehicle itself had several issues. The rear A/C did not work, making it very uncomfortable for passengers in the back, especially during long drives. The radio would randomly stop working while driving and would only come back on after turning the vehicle off and restarting it.
What was even more frustrating was the owner's response when I reported these problems. Instead of addressing the concerns, he claimed that my messages were "threatening" and said he was canceling the trip, demanding that I return the vehicle immediately—even though I was already on my way to another state. This created unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Additionally, the listing is falsely advertised as a 15-passenger van. The vehicle only has 12 seats. When this was brought up, the owner acted as if he knew nothing about it, despite it being clearly stated in the listing.
Overall, the vehicle was not as advertised, had multiple mechanical and comfort issues, and the owner's handling of legitimate concerns was unprofessional. I would not rent from this host again.

The vehicle drove fine, the Turro app was easy to use, getting access to the vehicle was easy, communication was fine. The inside of the vehicle had a lot of damage both inside and outside. Almost every seat had water damage and the vehicle smelled very strongly of dog. In fact, on the hour long drive back home after picking up the vehicle my eyes were watering and my throat was itchy (I'm allergic to dogs). My clothes even smelled like dog. We only needed the vehicle for the one day and it was too late to try and find anything else. So we had to use a deoderizer bomb and a lot of Febreeze to get the smell out. Even then, that only helped for about 6 hours and the smell started coming back. It was so disappointing and embarrassing to have people riding with us. The vehicle ultimately served its purpose but I will be a lot more cautious in the future.
