I would not rent from this host again. The 2015 Ford Transit broke down only a few hours into our trip, leaving two families with three young children stranded in a rural area for over three hours in the summer heat. The vehicle would not start, and the roadside technician determined it was a mechanical issue, not a dead battery. The host apologized but offered no meaningful assistance. We had to pay for an Uber to a rental car location 40 miles away, rent another vehicle, and spend an extra day and an 8-hour round trip returning it. What should have been a family vacation turned into a stressful and expensive experience. I strongly recommend that the host properly maintain vehicles before renting them out to avoid putting future guests in the same situation.
Apologies for all the inconvenience caused. Fully understand the frustration and sincerely sorry for the bad experience. The issue is caused by a bad fuel pump. I wish there was a symptom that could have been prevented. We will address any issue observed, however some of the mechanical issues are not covered in routine maintenance. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
