Worked well overall; had some issues with A/C and check engine lights that self fixed thankfully. Needs DEF in addition to fuel which was news to us.

First time with Turo and this Host. They were rushed to give us the vehicle in time and told us that it needed to be cleaned in a hurry so there definitely were some items missed, but not a problem for us. Vehicle got us from point A to point B but not without issues. We were notified that Diesel Fuel, no damage to the vehicle, and returned cleaned were our responsibility, but nothing more. As we drove, DEF additive was needed and the host refused to refund us for this, although it was never clearly stated that this was on us. Oil light came on as well and there definitely were issues with the A/C. We did our part and returned the vehicle as requested. It needs some maintenance so I would book with caution. Overall, decent but going back to Budget or Avis where I know what type of service I am getting. Price is the same but the service is much better elsewhere.

Unfortunately this is the first time this person used Turo and they did not know how to drive a diesel vehicle. DEF additive is always needed when you have a prolonged trip, which theirs was over two weeks, so they needed to add DEF to the fuel reserve. It's listed on the listing that you may need to add DEF. It's not something that we would cover because it happens during your trip sometimes. The other issues on this review are just silly. The vehicles are maintained very well. They get routine
