I hate to leave a review that’s other than stellar, but I feel it’s important for those looking to rent to have information by which to make their rental decision.
Pros: Janine was super nice and very responsive. Can’t say enough good things about her. That’s why I gave it three stars.
Cons: The condition of the car was poor. It was very dirty and you could tell that it has not been kept up. One of the lining strips off of the sliding door was coming off by the end of the trip. We take very good care of our own vehicles and expected it to be in much better condition and clean. Had we known the condition, we would not have rented it. The air conditioning was weak. The car also made funny sounds while driving which we took it to be something related to one of the tires and we did not drive the car very often during our trip or very far.
Conclusion: If you don’t mind a dirty vehicle or one that you’re not sure is reliable, and you have a large group and need lots of space, than this van would be for you. Especially since Janine is so nice, easy to work with and responsive. However, if those things are important to you, I would suggest you rent from someone else.
Sorry to hear it wasn't up to your standards. We have checked all systems and brought the van in for service to triple check everything and everything is in good working order. It would have been helpful if you could have communicated any issues during the trip so we could address them for you instead of just leaving a negative review which causes us harm.
