The air conditioning did not work in the rear of the vehicle, which in the Maui heat with such a large vehicle was really an issue especially considering the cost. We messaged the owner but seemed to be being helped by a chatbot, and no one followed up. The vehicle is also quite dated and in poor maintenance condition. It has several broken seatbelt covers with exposed sharp metal that cut kids’ legs several times, and is generally not the vacation vehicle we would have expected having rented many times from Turo.

I was disappointed with the 8-10 passenger van because from the picture that was sent to me made the van look like it was newer which I assumed that it was a 2018/2019 and it looked to me like it was a 2008 and it was disappointing. My family and I will never use Turo again based on the above.
