This van was perfect for my family vacation. We had 11 people (5 adults and 6 kids) and we were able to do everything on our itinerary. We filled up once on our 10 day trip. We even drove it through a portion of the road to Hana stopping at the National Park. I would highly recommend this vehicle if you’re traveling with a big group to Maui!

The air conditioning did not work in the rear of the vehicle, which in the Maui heat with such a large vehicle was really an issue especially considering the cost. We messaged the owner but seemed to be being helped by a chatbot, and no one followed up. The vehicle is also quite dated and in poor maintenance condition. It has several broken seatbelt covers with exposed sharp metal that cut kids’ legs several times, and is generally not the vacation vehicle we would have expected having rented many times from Turo.
