We would rent this van again, it was mostly comfortable to ride in, got amazing gas mileage. Wonderful to have lots of room and big windows for sight seeing!! Finding it and returning, it were fairly easy to do. Another review mentioned having to Uber to the vehicle, it was at the airport for us but it’s a bit of a walk. I recommend one person going to get the van and pulling back around to pick up everyone and their luggage, same thing for return. Too far to drag luggage. There are definitely some things that this car rental group needs to do differently but it’s a short list:
- the instructions of where the keys were was not accurate
- the A/C and heat does not regulate properly at all, we let them know
- seat configuration does not match photos. One seat behind driver has an unusable seatbelt. Another has a broken armrest.
- the key remote does not lock the front door, must use key to lock and open. It only locks other doors. We didn’t realize the front door wasn’t being locked at first. It’s been reported.
- For some odd reason this listing sometimes says 300 miles max, other days it says 400. They keep changing it. For this area 300 is definitely not enough, 400 won’t get you far either and per mile charge is quite high. They also fluctuate that on the listing. You’ll easily spend several hundred more dollars with that low mileage in an area like this.
- Very frustrating not to receive instructions until the moment you check out which is exactly when you’re trying to get into the airport and get everything done. Check out instructions the night before would make much more sense, I asked for them, but they would not give them. I sent several things to the group of owners that need fixed.

The car was exactly what we needed and drove very well. It was also great on gas. The hosts were responsive most of the time and answered our questions. However, there were a few things that I wish I would have known before I booked.
To start, I selected this car because it stated airport pickup and drop-off. Upon getting to Jackson, I noticed this wasn’t an option anymore and we had to spend $100 on Ubers (we had 8 people) in order to even get to the lot. The same goes for dropping the car off. Keep in mind you have to spend over $140 extra to have the vehicle delivered to the airport (or for you to even be able to drop it off there upon departure). I was offered an uber reimbursement and was told to send receipts, just for them to say never mind we’re not giving you one. For people with a busy itinerary, be mindful that any overage miles are $2.41 per mile (anything over 400).
Lastly, when we dropped the car off in the pouring rain, it took a little while for someone to get back to me about where to put the key/drop off instructions. There is nowhere indoors to sit so make sure you’re prepared to sit and wait for your uber in any weather condition.
Overall we were a little disappointed, but part of that may be on me for not asking more questions before booking.
