I would like to give this five stars because the van was just what we needed and, mechanically, it worked great. There was plenty of room for seven adults and our luggage.
However, the pick-up and drop-off process was not straightforward; better signage at the site would have been extremely helpful, parking spots should have been numbered if we were expected to indicate the number of the parking spot when we returned it, and having the name of the company at the airport and on the shuttle (the way Enterprise, Avis, etc did) would have made the process more clear for us. Finally, the interior windshield was hazy, making it difficult to see, especially when driving into the sun, and the right windshield wiper barely worked, so there were two issues with visibility with could have been easily addressed; I don’t think a customer should have difficulty with such basic maintenance…. Visibility is a no-brainer. Overall, we are satisfied with our experience, but not impressed. Not sure that I could recommend this company.

The van drives okay and was very spacious for a big group. Pickup and drop off was easy. However, the van was dirty upon pick up. When I went to ask the attendant did they have more van options he seemed annoyed. There was dust in the inside, and the outside didn’t look washed. Because of the attendant couldn’t give me precise details on the amount of time it will take to be re-cleaned, I felt that I was forced to personally re-clean the inside/out myself which was disappointing because 1) I’m not a professional detailer and 2) I was hoping that there could have been compromise. Aside from that, there’s a seat missing in the van, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, the trip was okay.

We understand how disappointing that must have been, especially having to clean it yourself before your trip. We appreciate your patience and are glad the van worked well for your group.

As a 5 star renter I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the vehicle. The attendant on site asked me if I’d like to have the vehicle washed when I arrived. I said absolutely. I even left to get coffee to give him extra time to get the vehicle up to par even though my trip had started already. I was kind of in a rush to get to my event and I trusted the vehicle was cleaned being that he asked if I wanted it cleaned. However, when I arrived home I realized the vehicle had not been cleaned. There were hand prints all over the windows, I found a full coffee cup in the rear cup holder, and it wasn’t vacuumed out. I had to clean the windows and discard the trash which was a huge inconvenience for me being that I was in a time crunch . I advised the host of the situation and received a scripted apology. No compensation was given for the inconvenience. I asked if I could have an additional 100 miles added to my trip being that I was staying locally and it was 45 miles to the pickup location and 45 miles to my home which would absorb the 100 miles given by the host. I was very surprised to be denied that reasonable request. This host had a lot of vehicles and should definitely put better processes in place to assure great renters like myself have a better customer experience. I don’t like writing negative reviews but this host didn’t live up to the expectations that I’ve become accustomed to on the Turo platform.
