To begin the car size worked well for 9 people and luggage. The airport pickup was a little tricky because the garage to pickup is the cypress garage where Turo has level 7 and 8. Upon picking up the vehicle in the designated spot I noticed the gas tank was not completely full which was kind of concerning. The vehicle was clean on the inside but not so much on the outside, there was no windshield washer fluid that was in the car either. We noticed upon entering and exiting the back of the car that the floors and steps are very slippery so be mindful of that it’s almost like they have armor all on it that cause it to be extremely slippery. The host was nice and I did everything he asked upon dropping it off in which I had reached out to finalize the details and we had filled the take over what it was. Also beware that if doing an airport pickup whatever time the car is dropped you must pay the ticket to get out of the garage and ours got dropped off at 3 and we didn’t land until 7ish so keep and eye on that as we put airport pickup and drop off in the quotes and got charged but still had to pay in the meantime for that parking. I reached out to try and handle these directly and was left on read and not responded too
Fake review. The guest wanted to bypass Turo and rent directly. When I refused, he threatened to lie in the review for discounts. He used my personal info from the vehicle registration to threaten a visit and demanded an extension without Turo fees. He sent insulting texts to my phone and said he’d post my personal info online with fake reviews. Please be honest.
