When I did the walk-around, I noted minor body damage, which isn't a big deal. However, the two front tires looked old and cracked, as if the van had been sitting for an extended period. When I saw the mileage, I was less than happy: it had 156k, but the pictures advertised showed only 56k. I got in the van, started it, and as I drove down the road, the check engine light came on, and to top it off, the AC Unit wasn't cooling properly.
Needless to say, I returned the van immediately and requested a full refund, only to be met with a barrage of excuses that the van was in good working order. Too many mechanical issues for my comfort level to take my family on a California vacation and worry about the reliability of a safe vehicle.
