I cannot recommend this rental. The vehicle was not accurately represented and raised serious safety concerns.
From the beginning, the vehicle had significant cosmetic damage beyond normal wear and tear that was not clearly reflected in the listing. More concerning, the vehicle shook noticeably at highway speeds, especially above 70 mph. The rear tire tread was very low, and after reading previous reviews, I noticed other renters had reported the same shaking issue but were only met with excuses.
While driving normally, without hitting a curb or pothole, we suddenly heard a loud noise and the tire rapidly lost air. This created a stressful and potentially dangerous situation while traveling with children and luggage.
When we contacted the host, we were simply directed to contact Turo. Unfortunately, Turo was not helpful in resolving the situation either. No apology, concern, or empathy was shown by the host. We also were not informed that the vehicle had a spare tire. Fortunately, while assessing the situation, we happened to notice the spare ourselves. Even more fortunately, the staff at the tire shop were incredibly kind and helped us safely get back on the road.
During the trip, the key fob also stopped working, and the left headlight went out. Both issues were reported to the host. The messages were read, but no response was ever provided.
Overall, the vehicle’s condition, the apparent pre-existing concerns, the lack of communication, and the absence of customer service made this an extremely disappointing experience. I would not rent from this host again.

Pick-up and drop-off were a breeze. The host was accessible and easy to communicate with. My only con was that the vehicle would tremble when driving over 60 mph. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the rental and had a good experience!
