Our overall experience renting the van was great—the vehicle was clean, reliable, and perfect for our trip. However, the communication regarding additional drivers was highly disappointing. Both extra drivers submitted their required information on time, yet they never received their approval emails, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience throughout the trip. I hope they streamline this verification process.
Additional drivers account approval is handled by Turo, not me. If you needed assistance you would need to reach out to Turo for assistance. Hosts have no control over account approvals. Had you asked me I would have been glad to give you that information. This review is supposed to be about the vehicle and my service. Not things out of my control.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. While driving with my family, the vehicle began experiencing significant mechanical issues. Warning lights illuminated across the dashboard like a Christmas tree, and we were forced to pull over and stop driving the van. This left my family stranded in the heat while we attempted to figure out what to do next.
Initially, the host appeared willing to help, but as the situation became more complicated and Turo’s policies did not align with her expectations, her attitude changed considerably. Rather than remaining professional and understanding, she became increasingly frustrated and directed that frustration toward us, despite the fact that we were dealing with a breakdown that was completely outside of our control.
What concerns me most is the lack of accountability when a vehicle becomes inoperable during a rental. Had this happened outside the city, on a remote highway, or far from available assistance, the situation could have been much worse. Renters place a great deal of trust in vehicle owners to provide safe and reliable transportation, especially when traveling with family.
While mechanical failures can happen, customer service and professionalism during those moments matter most. Unfortunately, both the condition of the vehicle and the way the situation was handled left us feeling unsupported and inconvenienced during what should have been a simple rental experience. I cannot recommend this host or vehicles based on our experience.
Unfortunately the vehicle did have a mechanical breakdown. The alternator failed and has since been replaced. Rental cars do have mechanical failures just like any other cars do and there is no way to know this in advance. The vehicle has been repaired. I did try to help the guest, however he was unrealistic in the timeframe in which it takes to get a replacement vehicle and unappreciative of the help I was able to give. Once he began raising his voice to me I referred him to Turo.

Very clean vehicle and smooth ride. This was probably the easiest check in/out process of all my previous trips with Turo. Quick response time from host during the trip. Host was very welcoming and reassured maintenance and the safety of the vehicle. I would definitely recommend booking with this host! Safe travels!
