We ended up cancelling this trip after driving an hour to pick up the van.
Every seat was stained, and not just a little bit. A lot. It smelled awful and was overall just disgusting. The pictures were obviously very out of date. This completely messed up our trip to the beach and was a huge inconvenience. There were no more vans in the area to rent. This experience has completely lost my trust in Turo.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. We do our best to keep our vehicles clean and accurately represented, and it’s disappointing to hear we missed the mark. However, we were never notified—at pickup or at any point during the reservation. Had we known, we would have gladly swapped the vehicle or addressed the issue on the spot. Unfortunately we weren’t given that chance. If you’re open to it, we’d love the opportunity to make things right.
