What a shit show, do yourself a favor and never rent from these guys. The level of un organization was absurd. There are so many better hosts in the greater Seattle area. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at all cost. They will give you the wrong address show up late and be completely unavailable.

The car was nice from inside and drove just fine. The car was not washed from the outside. Pickup and dropoff instructions could have been clearer and the host could have been more responsive to Turo messages.

The van was fine. It was challenging communicating with the owner. By pickup time my license was still unverified by the owner. There wasn’t any guidance as to how to access the van keys, so I first messaged via the app – no read receipt nor response. I then had to call. It sounded like I woke him up (just after 10am). He was pleasant enough and just told me to take photos of the exterior. Once I did, I still couldn’t access the interior. Had to message again, at which point he remotely unlocked the door so I could access the keys inside. The pickup process was longer than necessary because of the lack of communication and clear direction. Drop off was also a bit weird. No directions. We couldn’t leave the keys in the van because the doors wouldn’t stay locked from outside without a remote. I had to message saying we left the keys without the doors being locked because we couldn’t lock them, which felt incredibly irresponsible but the message again wasn’t showing read receipts, and we had to leave. He messaged a bit later saying he’d lock the doors. The lack of clear and timely communication was a bit off putting.

Had a wonderful time. We traveled from the west side over to Leavenworth Washington, and enjoyed a fun holiday getaway.
