My vehicle had issues and had to be towed, it happens and the host did an excellent job handling things on his end. Turo however did a horrible job. Just ti make everyone aware if your rental breaks down Turo will not give you a replacement rental until the tow company picks the broken down behicle up. In my case they ciuld not get to my vehicle until 23 hours later. Thankfully I had a friend who was willing two hours away to pick me up, then two hours back. I asked Turo to end my current trip and refund me the balance of my remaining days, once again they refused as it the broken down vehicle needed to be picked up by the tow company first. I was left without a vehicle for an entire day, once it was eventually picked up I received a refund of $114 after losing two days out of a six day rental totaling over $650. I will never use Turo again as that particular policy is idiotic and not customer friendly at all. I spoke with at least five different Turo representatives throughout the process the last two we're to deal with replacement vehicle or refund and they we're offered zero help, asked if I could speak with a manger and for whatever reason I could not, tried emailing Turo, no response, tried their Ai feature also useless. The representatives you can speak to are an outsourced company you likely located overseas. I know went back to Enterprise and wish I never left, I have basically the same vehicle but newer with more features for two days longer and it is 40% cheaper even with the extra days. Use Turo at your own risk.
