We’ve now rented for three straight months from Broden, choosing multiple vehicles. He has always been extremely responsive and made our experience smooth. He has some of the best vehicles available and at a very reasonable price. We tried to rent from another listing this past week after returning our last vehicle to Broden, and immediately had to contact Turo to have them cancel the reservation due to major mechanical issues. Broden keeps up on his mechanical services, that added Rocket Car Wash unlimited pass is a really nice bonus, and pickup and drop off are so convenient. We just booked our 4th month and 3rd vehicle today with Broden.
Amazing experience from start to finish! The truck was clean, well-maintained, and ready right on time. The staff was professional, friendly, and made the rental process quick and stress-free. the truck drove perfectly the entire trip. I would definitely recommend this truck rental company to anyone needing reliable service and equipment. Will absolutely be using them again in the future!
We had an excellent experience renting this truck for our vacation. The vehicle was clean, reliable, and exactly as described. It drove great the entire trip and made traveling much more comfortable. The owner was responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the rental process. Pickup and drop-off were smooth and convenient. We would definitely rent this truck again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable vehicle for a trip.

Clint was an outstanding host from start to finish! The entire rental process was incredibly easy, smooth, and stress-free. He was friendly, responsive, and very accommodating, making sure everything was clear and convenient throughout the trip. The truck itself was excellent—clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It was spotless when I picked it up and performed flawlessly the entire time. I took it on a longer trip and had absolutely zero issues. The ride was comfortable, reliable, and handled everything I needed with ease. If you’re looking for a five-star experience all around, book with this host!!! I will absolutely rent from him again in the future! Thank you!!
The truck was perfect and basically brand new. We always appreciate the bed cover on rental trucks. This is my second time renting from Ryan and will continue to do so in future trips.

The option of Renting this Nissan Frontier pick up truck appeared at first glance like an “anxiety-reducing opportunity”, and here’s the reason why: -Pretty much all of the other trucks of the same type (with the oversized compartment in the back) are advertising for over $200 at the minimum, and quite often for just 24 hours. -In addition to the relief I felt as I noticed that this one was reasonably priced, the pick up location came as an unexpected bonus. Basically, there are a great number of car dealerships, most if not all, located one next to the other, occupying about a mile-long segment of the main road connecting Colma and Daly City called Serramonte Blvd. Thus, after dropping my car at the Volkswagen dealership on Serramonte blvd, being able to access this rental, located only about a mile away was a pleasant surprise. Especially when you combine that with the affordable price. - Lastly, the communication with the truck owner was easy and the details provided were quite thorough; which altogether made for an “anxiety-reducing” experience overall😀👍🙏. Thank you again for making the rental process of your Frontier, as simple and stress-free as it can be. Kel F, PharmD

Great vehicle. Super clean and comfortable. Super responsive host. Was available on time. Would recommend to anybody looking to rent a truck. Will use again in the future

Truck rental again was great, very clean and comfortable, will do business again in future, thank you.

Rental process was very easy. I had the car dropped off and picked up from my house with no issues. Vehicle was super clean! Will absolutely rent from again!!!

Tian was great. He helped guide us throughout the whole rental process. The car has amazing FSD. I would highly recommend for roadtrips. Would rent again from him

This truck is awesome. It has a super strong and smooth running engine. All the working areas of the truck such as the tie downs in the bed are in great condition, which was super important for me. 👍👍 used for hauling machinery. The bed is in good shape not torn up like most rental trucks. Made it easy to sweep out. You will love driving this truck if visibility is important to you, it’s a lot better than a comparable sized van lol. While trucking around 😎 I loved the sound system, worked great with charging my phone and playing music. The check in and experience with Nesha was excellent. The price was significantly better and I enjoyed this truck much more than any truck I’ve gotten from THD, Lowes or Enterprise and this year was a BIG YEAR for trucks and vans ✌️

Amazing truck, flawless and very reasonable price. Just keep in mind it's rear wheel drive so not best for snowy conditions! But otherwise awesome car!
Great truck rental experience! The vehicle was clean, reliable, and easy to drive. The host is easy to talk to and made pickup/drop-off smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Elio’s truck was perfect and he was responsive throughout the rental process. He helped provide accurate pick up and drop off directions and the process was smooth throughout. Thank you!

Renting a truck in Koloa provides unmatched versatility for your Hawaiian adventure. These robust vehicles excel at hauling surfboards, kayaks, and camping gear to remote beaches. Their spacious cargo beds are perfect for transporting furniture or appliances if you're moving to the island. Rental trucks also offer better visibility on winding coastal roads and can easily handle the occasional unpaved path to hidden island gems.
The Waimea Canyon Drive offers a breathtaking journey through Kauai's diverse landscapes. This scenic route winds through the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," showcasing deep valley gorges and vibrant red soil. A truck rental is ideal for this drive, providing ample power for the steep inclines and sharp turns. The elevated seating gives you a better view of the panoramic vistas, while the spacious bed is perfect for storing picnic supplies or hiking gear. Be prepared for changing weather conditions and pack accordingly for stops at various lookout points along the way.
Port Allen Industrial Park, located west of Koloa, is a hub of commercial activity where truck rentals are in high demand. This area is home to numerous warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and shipping companies that frequently require vehicles for transporting goods. Renting a truck here allows easy access to the port facilities and nearby industrial zones. The wide roads accommodate large vehicles, making navigation simple. When renting for industrial purposes, consider factors like payload capacity and whether you need features such as a liftgate for easier loading and unloading.
Kokee State Park, a wilderness area known for its native forests and hiking trails, is an ideal destination for truck renters. The park's elevation and sometimes muddy roads make a rental truck the perfect vehicle for reaching trailheads and campsites. Your truck rental's cargo space is invaluable for transporting camping gear, coolers, and hiking equipment. The park offers stunning views of Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast. Be aware that some areas may have limited cell reception, so plan your route in advance and check park regulations regarding vehicle access to specific areas.
When renting a truck in Koloa, consider the size that best suits your needs — a smaller pickup for general use or a larger model for hauling heavy loads. Check the vehicle's ground clearance if you plan to venture onto unpaved roads. Familiarize yourself with the truck's dimensions to ensure comfortable navigation on Kauai's sometimes narrow roads. Don't forget to inquire about 4-wheel drive options, which can be beneficial for accessing more remote areas of the island. Lastly, consider fuel efficiency, as gas prices on the island can be higher than mainland rates.
When looking for a truck rental in Koloa, Hawaii, guests can find convenient pickup locations that provide easy access to local attractions. Many hosts on Turo offer pickup options near popular areas such as Poipu Beach Park or the Shops at Kukui'ula. These locations allow guests to quickly start their Hawaiian adventure, whether they're planning to explore the stunning Waimea Canyon or visit the picturesque Spouting Horn. Remember to communicate with your host about specific pickup arrangements and any questions you may have about the rental vehicle before your booking made on Turo.
Koloa offers breathtaking scenic routes ideal for a truck adventure in Hawaii. The Kaumualii Highway provides stunning coastal views as you drive towards Waimea Canyon, often called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." For a more challenging ride, take your rental truck along the winding roads to Wailua Falls, where you'll be rewarded with lush greenery and cascading waterfalls. The Koloa Heritage Trail is another must-drive, offering a mix of historical sites and natural beauty. Remember to adjust your truck's mirrors for optimal visibility on these picturesque roads. Always respect local traffic laws and be mindful of other drivers sharing these popular routes.
Maneuvering a large rental truck through Koloa's tight spaces requires skill and patience. Familiarize yourself with your truck's dimensions and turning radius before setting out. When navigating narrow streets, use your side mirrors frequently and take turns wide to avoid curbs. In tight parking areas, it's often easier to back into spots for easier exit. If possible, scout for larger parking areas in advance, particularly when visiting popular attractions. Always be aware of overhanging vegetation and low-hanging signs that might not be an issue for smaller vehicles. Remember, it's better to take your time and make multiple-point turns than to risk damaging your rental truck or surrounding property.
When selecting a truck rental for exploring Koloa and Hawaii's diverse landscape, consider the vehicle's size and capabilities. A mid-size truck often provides a good balance between maneuverability and comfort for island driving. Look for features like four-wheel drive, which can be beneficial on some of the more rugged roads. Fuel efficiency is also crucial, given the potential for long drives across the island. Consider the truck's cargo space if you plan on carrying beach gear or hiking equipment. Comfort features like air conditioning are essential for Hawaii's warm climate. Lastly, ensure the rental truck has good visibility, as this will enhance your enjoyment of the stunning Hawaiian scenery during your travels.
Modern rental trucks come equipped with safety features that prove particularly useful when driving in Koloa. Lane departure warnings can be invaluable on winding coastal roads, while blind-spot monitoring assists with safely changing lanes on busier highways. Adaptive cruise control helps maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, which is especially useful during longer drives across the island. Hill start assist can be beneficial when navigating Koloa's occasionally steep terrain. Backup cameras and parking sensors are extremely helpful when maneuvering in tight spaces, common in some of Koloa's more compact areas. Additionally, advanced traction control systems can provide extra stability on varied road surfaces, from sandy coastal stretches to occasionally wet, tropical conditions.
Driving a rental truck in Koloa presents unique challenges compared to a regular car. The truck's larger size requires more careful navigation, especially on narrow local roads. You'll need to be more aware of overhanging vegetation and low-hanging signs that might not pose issues for smaller vehicles. Turning radius is generally wider in trucks, so anticipate needing more space for turns, particularly in Koloa's quaint town center. Parking can be more challenging, often requiring you to seek out larger spaces or parallel park with extra caution. On the positive side, rental trucks offer better visibility due to their higher seating position, allowing you to enjoy panoramic views of Koloa's stunning landscapes. Always be mindful of your vehicle's height when encountering low bridges or entering parking structures.
When renting a truck in Koloa, proper load distribution and weight management are crucial for safe driving. Always place heavier items at the bottom and towards the front of the truck bed, distributing weight evenly from side to side. This helps maintain stability and improves handling, especially on Koloa's winding roads. Secure all items properly to prevent shifting during transit, using tie-downs or a cargo net. Be mindful of the rental truck's payload capacity and avoid overloading, which can affect braking and steering. For long items like surfboards, use a roof rack if available, ensuring they're firmly attached. Remember that a loaded truck handles differently than an empty one, so adjust your driving accordingly, especially when braking or cornering on Koloa's diverse terrain.
Navigating urban areas of Koloa with a full-size rental truck requires careful planning and awareness. Before setting out, familiarize yourself with your truck's height and compare it to any known restrictions in the area. Many of Koloa's urban spaces weren't designed with large vehicles in mind, so be prepared for narrow streets and tight turns. Use a GPS system that allows you to input your vehicle's dimensions to avoid routes with low clearances. When parking, look for designated areas that can accommodate larger vehicles. Be extra cautious of overhanging signs, tree branches, and awnings that may not pose issues for smaller vehicles. If you're unsure about clearance, it's always better to find an alternative route or parking spot rather than risk damage to your rental truck or surrounding property.
When driving a rental truck between Koloa and other parts of Hawaii, maintain a steady speed on highways to optimize fuel efficiency. Be mindful of strong crosswinds, especially on coastal routes, and adjust your steering accordingly. Use your truck's higher vantage point to anticipate traffic patterns and road conditions ahead. When descending steep grades, which are common in Hawaii, use engine braking by downshifting to reduce strain on your brakes. Always keep a safe following distance, as it takes longer to stop a truck compared to a car. Be courteous to other drivers by using turnouts when available if traffic builds up behind you. Lastly, stay alert for sudden weather changes, which can affect road conditions quickly in Hawaii's diverse climate.
