The truck was clean inside and out but there was an odor of cigarette smoke. Also the Turo pick up instructions were wrong. They said to take a shuttle to Economy C. Actually the truck was in the Surface lot which was back by the terminal. We could have walked there. It was 100 degrees outside, and an airport Rover employee saw us and gave us a ride to the proper lot.
The owner did apologize and followed up with us about another issue.
The instruction on airport pick up is not from
Us. We simply state where in the airport and the Turo map sets the direction.
To your point on smoking, our instruction clearly says "no smoking allowed". We will check the vehicle and make sure it is thoroughly cleaned. We regret that people are flouting our rules.

Truck was dirty had last customer socks.
Wind shield wiper blades was bad had to replace both. No wiper fluid in truck. Smelled like someone was smoking in the vehicle. Would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Our staff do a rigorous job to clean all the vehicles. It appears the problem here is that the cleaning was missed. We would have preferred that you notify us immediately so we replace it with another vehicle for you. Then you won't have to pick up the truck that was not cleaned yet.
