Communication was fine leading up to the trip, but the host changed the pickup location two days before—despite it being confirmed for over a month. We accommodated the change, but kept the drop off at the original pickup location since it was more convenient for us.
Unfortunately, the return process was disorganized. The instructions initially provided an incorrect airport lot, which required additional followup. When we arrived at the correct lot at 11:30 PM for drop off, signs clearly stated that overnight parking was prohibited and that a permit was required, which the vehicle did not have. The vehicle also had expired tags.
Concerned about ticketing and towing, we stayed with the vehicle and called for help. Before answering, the co-host accidentally sent us a message intended for someone else, mocking our situation and revealing that they were actively watching us via the vehicle’s exterior Sentry cameras.
While the car itself performed well mechanically, this lack of professionalism and poor communication during drop off made for an underwhelming experience.
