Overall, the vehicle worked great and was reliable throughout our trip. It had good gas mileage and met our needs while traveling in California.

The biggest challenge was the pickup and drop-off process. The listing appeared when searching for vehicles at LAX, so I assumed the car would be available at or near the airport. However, the pickup location was approximately 30 minutes away, which was not clear to me when booking.

There was also confusion because the address listed in my trip details was different from the address the host sent through messages before arrival. We arrived late at night and, without being able to reach the host for clarification, went to the address in the trip details first. Unfortunately, that was not where the vehicle was located. That address took us to the parking lot of a Jack in the Box restaurant. After paying for an Uber to that location, we ended up having to spend additional time and money getting to the correct address.

The host was responsive during normal daytime hours, but because we arrived late, we were unable to get immediate clarification when we needed it most. The drop-off process required returning the vehicle to the same location, which was also inconvenient given the distance from the airport.

My recommendation would be for the listing to more clearly state that the vehicle must be picked up and dropped off well away from LAX, and for the pickup location information to be consistent throughout the booking process. Had I known this in advance, I likely would have chosen a vehicle closer to the airport.

Other than the pickup and drop-off challenges, the vehicle itself was good and served us well during the trip.

Everything worked perfectly. We love the car and the service provided.

We hope we have a chance to use this car again or any from his fleet.
