Pickup was easy and the car ran nice. The only thing that was unpleasant was not receiving a heads up about the wind and having the top down on the jeep. Naturally when reserving a top down car you’re going to want to utilize the feature. Our car host did not warn us of the wind and how it could potentially mess up the soft top. This led to complications with our reservation and now resulting in a claim being put in. If you rent this car I would recommend not driving with the top down to avoid this problem happening in which our host apparently was aware of before and did not let us know.

This review was written in retaliation for filing a claim for damages to the vehicle. The guest failed to properly secure the Jeep’s soft top, causing significant roof damage. Pre-trip photos show the vehicle was delivered clean, yet it was returned dirty with sunscreen stains throughout. Mud on the tires and wheel wells also indicates the vehicle was taken off-road, in violation of Turo’s Terms of Service. Client tried to still me for $50 in gas.
The jeep was prefect for our Maui adventures! Kevin was a fantastic host and communication was great!
