Host was 30 minutes late for pickup and didn’t communicate the delay until after the scheduled pickup time. Also made a comment reminding me not to get in an accident right away, which came off a little odd as a first interaction.
Thank you for the feedback. The pickup delay was due to having the vehicle professionally cleaned prior to the trip, and I did communicate and apologize as soon as possible. The accident comment was not intended to be offensive. I provide an accident information card because many renters are unaware that insurance coverage gaps can exist after an accident depending on the situation, and I believe awareness and transparency are important.
