I had long flight delays and got in later then expected. Upon arrival everything seemed fine. My wife and I noticed a strong smell in the car so we rolled down the windows immediately thinking it was the axe air fresheners. We drove straight to the hotel and went to the room.
Getting in the vehicle the next morning we noticed it smelled like weed. I contacted the host immediately. We returned the vehicle at that moment.
The host is refusing a refund because I didn’t reject the vehicle right away and even accused my wife and I of smoking in the vehicle. I have severe asthma and tried to explain this. She has refused and is charging me for 7 days when I only had the vehicle for 14 hours, and only drove it for 30 minutes with the windows down before deciding to return it. Horrible horrible customer service.

We strongly disagree with this review. After the vehicle was returned, both our driver and the host inspected it and found no marijuana odor. If there had been an odor at pickup, it should have been reported immediately, not after the vehicle had been used. Turo reviewed all the evidence and ruled in our favor, finding no proof that the vehicle was delivered with a marijuana odor.
