Vehicle was clean with lots of cool features! The hosts were friendly and attentive but left out some things regarding vehicle mechanical status and tracking. (Check engine light and oil light came on during our trip) but overall would be a perfect family vehicle for a short distance trip.

Overall the host was very timely in responding, helpful with most things, and understanding. The car was comfortable and the large tank helped with less stops for a long trip. All that said, I wish it was disclosed for next time as a recommendation to the host that there are no headphones or remote for the rear entertainment system which was a big selling point for my family to use this car. They are not normal headphones that you can just grab somewhere so we had to listen to the movies through the whole car. Not a deal breaker but definitely an inconvenience. Lastly, we ran into an issue where the low oil pressure started going off and eventually triggered the check engine light. We pulled over in the next town and found the oil to be very very low. Put some oil in to get to a normal level but the entire rest of the trip the check engine light was on and the low oil pressure would go off on every single uphill while accelerating. Most likely a faulty sensor that the host couldn’t know about but when it was brought up, we were told to just ignore it and drive 2000 miles while it continually went off. It was very frustrating not knowing if something was going to happen while driving between towns in the middle of nowhere. Again, host was great outside of that. We will use Turo again but probably just for local driving.
