highly disappointing. the car doesn’t run smoothly. and slow acceleration. but it gets worse. while driving in really bad rain, the windshield wipers flew off, i had to pull over and wait for rain to suppress because i couldn’t see in rain without wipers. upon messaging host, he said go to O’reily, buy wipers and he will reimburse me once i send him a receipt. O’reily wouldn’t put the wipers on because it was raining and they said they couldn’t come out in rain.HUGE INCONVENIENCE, i missed an appointment. then the host told me via messages through the turo app, that i could return the vehicle late (no additional charge) and then charged me for bringing it back late. when i reached out to him about it he tried to bribe me by saying “ leave him 5 stars

I rented this vehicle for two weeks (costing over $1,200), and it was a terrible experience. From day one, the tire pressure monitor light was on, requiring me to put air in the tire every single day just to safely commute to work.
It gets worse: On 6/12, I noticed a faint orange glow on the dashboard. Upon closer inspection, the Check Engine light had been intentionally covered up with black spray paint. Looking back at both my check-in photos and the host’s own listing photos, the covered-up light is clearly visible. This explains why the car rode incredibly rough and why the A/C blew hot air whenever the vehicle was idling or parked.
When I brought these safety issues to the host, they completely ignored the check engine light and only offered a tire repair at a time that conflicted with my work schedule. Turo Customer Service ultimately had to step in, restrict the vehicle, and have it towed because the host stopped responding. This situation left me stranded and caused me to miss a full day of work. Listing a vehicle in this condition is a massive safety hazard and a direct violation of Turo policy. Avoid this host.

Hosts, be cautious with this guest. They drained my car’s battery just hours before the end of their trip and are now asking for a full refund for all three days, even after driving a lot, using plenty of gas, and taking the car through muddy conditions.
