The host was commutative but the car had multiple pieces of used chewed gum in it and was very dirty when delivered to us.

The car came to you directly from the car wash. Yes, the missed gum in the rear cupholder, but the vehicle was spotless. You’re mad about the fact that you had to pay for bringing the vehicle back empty when you received a full tank. I expected this, but still gave you five stars after I had to get turo involved with your attempt at nonpayment.
The vehicle drove well, but I was very disappointed with the overall experience. When I picked it up, it was clearly not cleaned properly — the cupholders and screen had visible residue and fingerprints, and the back seats had food crumbs and debris. For a premium vehicle, that’s unacceptable. I returned the car early and on time, parked it in the same location I picked it up from, yet the host responded with an unnecessarily rude message afterward instead of appreciation or professionalism. The experience left a bad impression, and I’ve already reported it to Turo for review.

This is laughable. You’re very sensitive and you did not follow directions that were given. Where you placed the vehicle was not placed where you were instructed to do so— it wasn’t in camera view.
Overall, your rating should’ve been focused on the vehicle. I’m glad you were happy with the vehicle and I’ll let the car wash know the missed a spot.
Friendly and responsive communication, car was clean and well maintained. Third row comfortable for adults. We ended up extending the rental a day and Craig was able to accommodate.
