I had a horrible experience, almost felt like I was ripped off and scammed because the car was faulty. It did not have AC working, it did not have GPS, and the lights weren't working at night. The host wasn't too bad. He was helpful and was trying to make things work, but I couldn't see if any other car is available. I even requested him another car, a better car, because the host had three cars, but he refused to offer me a better car. And then since my trip was ongoing, I called Turo three to four times that I cannot see if I can rent a new c
Hi Madiha, sorry for your frustration. Upon return, I verified the AC, GPS, and lights work perfectly; the issue was unfamiliarity with the dials, which I tried helping you with. On Day 1, I advised you to cancel if you felt uncomfortable. Since you chose to keep the car the entire trip instead, standard charges apply. I couldn't swap vehicles as my others were booked, and Turo requires official rebooking anyway. I did my best to offer solutions. Safe travels!
