The check oil engine light came on while I had the vehicle.
Hi, the engine oil light wasn’t on when the car was delivered to you and came on in middle of your trip. I’m sorry. The occasional oil consumption issue in Volkswagen vehicles is related to the design of the VW engine itself.

Car was great other than a headlight that was out. Host wasn’t aware and said he would replace it after our return. Host was very nice, he worked with us when we thought we had lost the key. He was easy to work with. Would have been nice if he had a backup key, but luckily we found the key at the bus lost and found. I will be traveling with extra AirTags next time.
