Very clean car, felt like I was driving it right off the dealership lot. Host was easy to communicate with. I had a severely delayed flight and wasn’t able to pick up until 3am. Instructions were clear on where to get the key and where the car was located. The self driving was AMAZING! Owner was responsive throughout the trip, drop off was smooth and seamless! The only thing I would advise or that I questioned was billing for using the Tesla chargers; our VRBO didn’t give us access to any outlet to charge so we used several chargers. Tesla superchargers are connected to the owners account and I had to pay a separate invoice after the fact (plus a fee of course).
An honest review of Turo. This is my first time ever using this and I’m slightly disappointed. My search filter was for cars specifically at the airport because I knew my flight wouldn’t land until nighttime and I was unsure if an Uber would be available. I had to pay an extra $30 to uber to the vehicle because I didn’t pay attention when booking, I just assumed when my filter was on that I was only seeing vehicles at the airport. Extremely frustrating, but nothing this host did wrong.
