Extremely unsafe experience. While the vehicle was parked and untouched, the rear passenger window suddenly exploded — just moments after unloading my infant son. Telsa defect. Shards of glass went flying several feet. We were stranded over 200 miles from home with no support or replacement vehicle offered by the host. I had to arrange my own transportation, costing me time, money, and stress. The host wouldn't work with me for my reasonable asks that we split the cost/responsibilities. They wouldn't work with me and just keep trying to stick everything and costs to me, even charging me a fee for not returning the vehicle fully charged (I couldn't return it charged because it had to get towed...). I would never rent from this host again and strongly advise others to consider the safety and reliability of the vehicle before booking.
I understand you're upset. It was probably scary. Bottom line, the car left with a perfectly good window. We paid Tesla to repair it. The Tesla repairman said that he's only ever replaced windows that were hit by something and it's not common. It's not a Tesla defect. When you rent from Turo you agree to bring the car back in the same condition. We don't intend to pursue anything, but the rental cost us $500 and several days in lost rental income waiting for the repair.

Host was very accommodating for my last minute booking. Budget left the airport and left me without a car without notice. Car was great, host was better!

Kelli is a fantastic host I’ve rented from her twice and I’m going to rent from her 3 more times this summer. The car is always clean and easy to get to. She’s extremely responsive and helpful. Thanks Kelli
