When I reserved the car, I was under the impression that I was picking it up from the airport. But then as I was at the airport waiting for responses from the owner in the sweltering heat, I learned that the car was located at a private residential area about a 20 minute drive from the airport. I had to get an Uber in order to get to the car which cost me $20. Then the owner of the car told me that if I want to return it to the airport I just needed to make that change through the Turo app, and it should be fine. What he didn’t tell me was that he locked the pick up and drop off location to be at the same location (residential area I picked up from). Then I find out that it is his home. So for $40 extra I probably could’ve rented a car at the airport and saved the headache. Not very straightforward communication with this owner.

Thank you for your feedback. The pickup and return location were clearly shown in the Turo app before booking. On the morning of the trip, you messaged from the airport after realizing the reservation was not for airport pickup. The car and access instructions were provided on time. When you later requested an airport return, I advised you to contact Turo, and I would have accommodated it if the app had allowed the change.
