This was my first time renting with this host. He's okay but could do a lot better with the communication.
Finding the vehicle was a little complicated. Yes he said it was parked on the street. He did not say it would be parked in front of a body shop. After finding the vehicle, "unlocking" the vehicle everything was smooth.
Vehicle itself was clean inside and out. A couple dings and scratches as any used vehicle would. Nothing to bad. Vehicle ran pretty smooth with a whirring sound which I'm starting to think all Nissans have. Air and heat was good. Radio was a little complicated but I figured it out. Brakes, lights and wipers were great.
The vehicle had issues toward the end of my trip. I called the host as he instructed me to do so. He told me that he didn't know much about the vehicle because he just got it. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. Called turo roadside assistance and was on hold for 17mins with no answer at all. Called the help customer service help line and got through instantly. They said it would be $200 🫨🤯 to come out for a jump (because I declined the roadside service). Ended up have to sign up and call AAA for service. and the guy said the vehicle has a bad battery and alternator. He said to not turn it off until I make it back to my destination. I ended my trip 12hrs early.
Based on my experience, I probably would not rent with him again. Don't know 🤷🏾♀️
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately I can’t control turo road side or their fees. It did need a battery change according to the mechanic and we changed it right away. Thank you again.
