The car was great, but had no idea that it would be parked on the private plane side of the airport. (30 minute walk.) If you are flying Allegiant be prepared to pay for a shuttle to the car and pay for parking to park it close to the airport when coming back. He did accommodate us to park near the airport for departure we just had to pay for parking. Due to the location , the car pickup was stressful, but after that we had no problems.

The quality of the vehicle was as promised. The rental process was very simple up until the point of picking up the vehicle. I had rented a vehicle for pick up at the Gulf Shores Airport, JKA, not realizing that it would not be delivered to the terminal where the planes land but to a location that required a taxi ride (limited availability of taxis at this small airport) or a 1.5 mile walk. I walked in the heat and humidity starting my vacation off on a very sour note!! I have used Turo in the past and would use it again in the future, but this is a reminder to read the entire agreement before completing this or any rental contract.

The vehicle, cleanliness, maintenance, and accuracy were all rated 5 stars. We encourage all guests to carefully review pickup instructions and trip details in the Turo app before arrival.

Cars breaks were squeaky, communication was not great with host and when asked for help with a small favor wouldn’t help us. Wouldn’t rent again from
During the trip, the guest requested a time change to avoid a fee set by Turo. Per policy, all changes must go through the app and hosts cannot waive platform fees. We responded promptly and provided guidance. The vehicle is a 2023 Ford Explorer with low mileage, under warranty, and regularly maintained. No brake issues were reported before or after. We remain committed to clean, safe vehicles and clear communication.
