Host was mean when returning the vehicle. Not even a “hello”, rather they assumed I was ignoring their phone calls when, in fact, I never received any.
They also said I wasn’t “following directions” when the navigation took me to the military base instead of HNL airport (despite typing HNL airport). An honest mistake that was met with anger.
Lastly, they continued to claim I wasn’t “following directions” when I entered into the wrong garage. Considering this was my first time driving through HNL airport, I’d say that I did a good job finding my way, parking at the correct parking garage, and being on-time for vehicle return. Instead of understanding, I was met with anger and complaints.
The vehicle itself was decent and I had no issues during my trip. This would’ve been a glowing review had the host simply been understanding and had a more positive attitude for a customer. I wouldn’t recommend this host to anyone unless they enjoy getting heckled.

I would really appreciate it if you read the drop off instructions and follow the instructions. Not going through air force base to access the airport.
The car was wonderful but navigating through the Turo experience was at times a little tricky. Ease of pickup / drop off was definitely a bonus. Would use again
