The car itself was good — clean, enjoyable to drive, and the ability to pre-heat in the cold was a huge plus. The child car seat was also really nice (looked almost new), which we appreciated.
The main downside was charging logistics. The car did not come with the J1772 adapter / mobile charging setup, so we couldn’t use standard hotel/public charging overnight like we planned. We ended up making four Tesla Supercharger trips during the trip (each taking ~60–90 minutes), which was a big time hit while visiting family. The host suggested we drive ~45 minutes each way to their office near the airport to pick up the missing equipment, or buy an adapter ourselves, which wasn’t practical for our stay.
Also worth noting: when we requested a partial credit for the inconvenience, the host declined and mentioned that if we left a bad review, we’d receive a bad review as well.
Tip for future renters: If you plan to charge at a hotel or non-Tesla charger, confirm before booking that the J1772 adapter and/or mobile charging kit will be in the car at pickup.

Amazing car. Fast and comprehensive responses always… I can’t emphasize enough how great it is to rent from Emmie. Also, also of her Teslas have special custom add on that make them even more luxurious than usual….
