recently rented a BMW X2 in Chicago while traveling with my wife and our 15-month-old daughter, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family trip.
Pickup and drop-off were smooth, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout the process.
The BMW X2 was a pleasure to drive around the city, offering plenty of space for our luggage and baby gear while still being stylish and fuel-efficient. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but this rental made our trip much more enjoyable and stress-free.

Very wonderful

Best trip would love to rent again thanks

The vehicle was very clean and the host was quick with communication. Unfortunately the vehicle broke down within 24 hours of my trip. The dash indicated drivetrain malfunction. This happened at a very busy intersection and was causing dangerous traffic conditions blocking traffic. The host was unable to provide me with timely tow service so a police officer had to intervene and called for tow service due to the hazardous conditions the broken down vehicle was causing. This was putting myself and my family in danger as well as others on the roadway. I could not sit with the vehicle for a lengthy period of time waiting for a tow truck in hazardous conditions since the vehicle was blocking traffic at a busy intersection. The police officer indicated the vehicle had to be towed immediately and called for tow service. I had no choice but to abide by his instructions. I am still waiting for reimbursement from the tow service. Turo is pushing back stating that I did not go through their roadside service. The host was unable to provide such tow service timely. I even have my own AAA and would have received the tow service at no charge; however the police officer instructed the vehicle be towed immediately vs waiting hours for AAA or host to arrange for a tow. I took every necessary precaution to protect the safety and security of the host’s vehicle and followed all of his instructions as to where to have the vehicle towed and leaving the keys in the lockbox etc. I have yet to receive an apology for the inconvenience or even a simple thank you for my actions maintaining the integrity of the vehicle. The host was unable to provide a replacement vehicle so I went through Turo support which took hours on the phone and I spent the majority of the day without transportation. I had to Uber to a location to pick up a replacement car. Turo did reimburse for the Uber to pick up the replacement vehicle. It was extremely inconvenient to not have transportation for a majority of the day. I’m still waiting on reimbursement for the tow service. I was left no other option than to oblige by the officer’s instructions when he called for a tow. Which arrived within 5 minutes because they take priority when a vehicle needs to be towed when it’s causing hazardous traffic conditions vs waiting on a tow through Turo or AAA. I am hoping to update my review after I receive reimbursement for the tow service or the host. They keep trying to push back and not approve my reimbursement request. Again, a police officers instructions supersedes policy on roadside assistance especially when I tried to go that route but the host wasn’t able to arrange for tow service in a timely manner. The safety of myself and my family and others were at risk.

All was great, except I am very sensitive to smells and fragrances and the car smelled like an ash tray so definitely didn’t like that. Wish I had known, I would not have booked.
