I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent rental experience and the conduct of the host.
Please see the attached communication screenshots, which clearly document ongoing misinformation about the vehicle’s location, as well as a pattern of repeated, early-morning messages regarding the GPS connection. These messages were excessive, unnecessary, and felt both harassing and intimidating.
Additionally, the host misrepresented the vehicle’s pickup location. The listing and communication indicated that the car would be located at the airport. However, the vehicle was instead placed approximately 2.6 miles off-site at a separate location (in which an incurred an additional transportation fee $12.69). Despite this discrepancy, I was still charged an additional airport-related fee. This is misleading and unacceptable.
To clarify:
The vehicle was parked in an airport parking garage, as I communicated during the rental.
I did not tamper with, disconnect, or alter any GPS or vehicle systems.
The host repeatedly implied misconduct without evidence and escalated the issue to Turo support unnecessarily.
I was subjected to excessive and disruptive messages, including very early in the morning.
This escalation appears to have been based on incorrect assumptions rather than facts. At no point did I violate any rental terms or interfere with the vehicle. I have rented vehicles through Turo and other platforms for years and have never experienced this level of intrusion or misrepresentation.
Given the circumstances:
The false and misleading information regarding the pickup location and associated fees,
The unwarranted accusations,
The excessive and inappropriate communication,
I find this experience unacceptable.
I am requesting a full refund for this rental due to the misrepresentation, distress, inconvenience, and poor handling of the situation.
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise on next steps. I am happy to provide any additional information if needed.

Good morning ma’am, your car was parked in the right place! This place you refer to is a parking lot affiliated with the turo system, it is allowed to be parked turo vehicle, at no time did you say that the car would be parked at the airport, because in the airport parking lot we are not allowed to park! They are rules of the turo. And you weren’t charged anything for being parked here, it was totally free on my part, if it was charged you need to check with support

This was definitely an excellent rental. I highly recommend the car was extremely reliable. Cleanliness was top-tier. This was an excellent host. Communication was great. Service was excellent.

Clean vehicle, just as you see in the pictures. Host was very responsive and timely. Once you figure out the pick up at the airport, the rest is a breeze😃
I’m sad that not everything was perfect, but the place is wonderful, althought not everything is under our control, sorry about that!
