Great car clean but had an odd smell

Excellent host! The car was exactly as described clean, well maintained, and in perfect condition. Communication was fast, friendly, and clear from beginning to end, making the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. Pickup and drop off were easy and convenient. I would definitely rent from this host again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great Turo experience.

This was, without question, the worst experience I've had since I started using Turo.
When I arrived, the vehicle was covered in cockroaches, making it immediately unsanitary and unacceptable. The vehicle also appeared to have damaged sensors that constantly triggered alerts and interruptions while driving. In addition, the car was making mechanical noises that raised concerns about its overall condition.
The pickup process was equally disappointing. Despite the actual airport terminal being the authorized pickup location and the host having my flight information, the vehicle was parked approximately 15 minutes away from the airport. After a long flight, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for a shuttle bus that did not have air conditioning, followed by another 15 to 20-minute ride to reach the vehicle. This completely defeated the convenience of selecting airport pickup and resulted in unnecessary delays and frustration.
Rather than accepting responsibility for the situation, the host blamed the Turo platform for the pickup arrangement instead of acknowledging the inconvenience it caused.
I use Turo because it is typically convenient, efficient, and reliable. Unfortunately, this experience was the exact opposite. My previous experiences with Turo have been excellent, but this rental fell well below reasonable expectations. Based on the condition of the vehicle, the misleading pickup process, and the host's lack of accountability, I cannot recommend renting this vehicle or booking with this host.
