The car had roaches. I didn’t think much at pick up but when night fell it was an infestation so I immediately contacted the host the same day. Since it was so late he couldn’t do anything until the following morning. The car was “treated” and there were only a few here and there afterwards, but I did have to sweep all the dead ones out. The host says he was unaware of a bug problem but it was a literal infestation and his other cars were booked so I couldn’t get any other accommodations. Communication and the pick up was fine. I really wanted to enjoy the car but the bugs really messed it up and no food or trash was left in the car.

We truly didn't know about the problem - roaches only come out at dusk, and there were no visible signs during our inspections before your pickup. We treated the car first thing the next morning, and since then we've kept up daily treatment with traps and repeated fogging. Activity has dropped sharply and we're very close to complete elimination, and we're continuing treatment until they're fully gone.
