I just wish the host was as excellent as the car was. She likes to recite the Turo rules & regulations but it'll really help if she actually knew them lol. She tried to coordinate an oil change with me not even a week into my trip. On top of the fact that I only used 1200 of my 4200 FREE MILES and still about 500 miles away from reaching the recommended oil change from the shop she got her last one done. As a host is required to do their own maintenance due diligence before every booking and may (at the rider's leisure) choose to connect with that rider on how they'd like to schedule an oil change without inconveniencing the rider IF and ONLY IF the rider books the vehicle for 30 or more days. I only booked the ride for 21 days and checked my messages and saw that she wanted me to update her (via screenshot) once I crossed the threshold of miles she was comfortable with before she threatened to contact Turo support if I didn't respond to her requests in a timely manner. Mind you again, I'm just 5 days into my trip out of 21 lol. To my fellow riders on the Turo platform, don't let these hosts try to bully you into servicing their machines on your dime. Especially after you've just spent damn near $1000.00 dollars to rent out their vehicle.
