Bait and switch. Super shady renter. I originally reserved a 2020 Nissan and got a message the night before my trip that the vehicle wasn't available. A 2017 model was offered. I shouldn't have accepted but did so, seeing five star reviews. They're junk ratings. This is a chop shop. We were issued a vehicle with a half-full tank of gas, 110,000 miles on it, seeking of cannabis, with a nauseating air freshener to try to cover up the smell. The vehicle was dirty. There was an obscene bumper sticker on it. I thought I could cover the sticker and deal with the problems but I felt ill from the smell after five minutes of driving. I also worried that the vehicle wasn't safe and that it might have drugs or contraband in it still. Truly horrified.

The vehicle was cleaned and inspected prior to delivery and I was not aware of any smoke odor or safety concerns at the time of handoff. Once you expressed that you were uncomfortable with the vehicle, I fully cooperated with the return process through Turo
