Car was great, but hosts did not respond to my requests for phone key access. Having a phone key is half the Tesla experience, including auto-lock, pre-cooling the car, etc.

Unfortunately, this 31-day rental was disappointing. The pickup instructions referred to a lockbox for the keys, but there was no lockbox at the location. I had to wait about 15 minutes in the parking lot until the host remotely unlocked the car. No home charger was provided, which made a month-long rental much less convenient than expected.
I was also denied access to the Tesla app, which has been standard with my previous Tesla rentals and is very important for monitoring charging and pre-cooling the cabin in Florida’s summer heat. I requested the option to add FSD for an additional fee, but the host did not respond to my messages.
The return instructions were inconsistent, and my requests for clarification were ignored, so I had to guess what to do. Overall, the car itself was fine, but for a 31-day rental, the communication, pickup process, charging setup, and lack of app access made the experience frustrating.
