Best price! Definitely worth it. The car rental service at the airport tried to charge me the same price for a basic suburban. I’ll definitely be renting from these guys again

The G-Class was in fair condition compared with other similarly aged G-Class rentals I’ve had on Turo, which was fine with me. I returned it in essentially the same condition as I received it. I cleaned the interior and left no trash or dirt from normal use, but I did not take it through an exterior car wash.
What surprised me was that the day after the trip ended, the host texted asking to talk. During that call, they asked if I would pay $100 to $150 for a car wash. This was not tied to any spill, stain, or unusual mess, but simply a request to cover routine cleaning between rentals. In my experience renting vehicles, including ones delivered in pristine condition (rather than fair, like this one), I’ve never had a host contact me directly after a trip to ask for additional money for a standard wash. Even though the vehicle was only in fair condition, I would have rated this trip higher. But being asked after the fact to pay extra for routine cleaning is something I’ve never experienced with a Turo host, and it felt unprofessional. Basic turnaround cleaning is part of the cost of renting out a vehicle.
We provided emergency mobile tire service after significant tire/rim damage occurred during this trip and accommodated his airport return request. We asked for $40-50 for interior cleaning, not $100-150 as claimed. The vehicle required professional cleaning of carpets/seats(Not routine & is communicated pre-trip). This review seems influenced by the tire incident and cleaning request rather than reflecting the responsive and positive service we provided throughout complications during his trip.
