We rented a car in Las Vegas and the air conditioner was not working at all on the passenger side. We had the car for 2 hours and returned it back to the airport. Not satisfied at all

Overall, the rental itself was fine, but I did have one concern that future renters should be aware of.
I used the vehicle primarily for commuting to the gym, a bodybuilding show, and a nearby grocery store. We kept our driving very minimal throughout the rental. The low fuel light came on during my trip, which surprised me given how little we had driven.
Before returning the vehicle, I added what I believed was a reasonable amount of fuel—more than enough to cover the miles I had driven (300 ). I was still invoiced for additional fuel afterward. When I reached out to express my concern, the owner said they take photos of the fuel level before each rental but didn’t offer to provide them. Rather than continue disputing it, I paid the invoice, but the situation still didn’t sit right with me.
My recommendation to future renters is to take detailed photos of both the fuel gauge and the odometer at pickup and drop-off so you have your own documentation. I did not do this part and I should have.
The key fob is also damaged and weathered.
