William is a great host, very accommodating. William delivered the vehicle straight to us at the airport after we landed. Top tier service. The car was very clean, comfortable and classy. The car was fine. I was surprised with a refueling charge for DEF for diesel engines. The host mentioned DEF might need to be added it at time of pickup, but said the car would tell me if it was required. The host messaged me as I was refueling and asked how the DEF was? I responded that it still said it has over 200 miles left and he didn’t say anything, then sent me an invoice to replace it and a “refueling” fee. I’m not familiar with diesel engines and DEF, but certainly could have been communicated better since it adds to the price of the rental. Pickup and drop off was weird too. Pickup was at the hosts house and you have to interact with the host in person. I prefer blind pickup on Turo.
