When we picked up the vehicle, it had a strong cigarette smell. We were told there was nothing that could be done about it, so we had to stop somewhere ourselves to purchase an air freshener spray. If I had been traveling alone, I may not have minded as much, but I had my daughter with me, which made the situation especially unpleasant.
On top of that, the vehicle was provided to us with only 285 miles of fuel remaining. When we returned it, we had put enough fuel in it to bring the range up to around 330 miles. Despite this, we received an invoice claiming that we had not properly refueled the vehicle.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. Between receiving a vehicle that smelled strongly of cigarettes and then being incorrectly charged for fuel, I would expect better communication and attention to detail from the company.
