Overall, the vehicle got me where I needed to go and had plenty of room for luggage and passengers in the back seat. However, there were some significant concerns with the vehicle’s handling and communication regarding airport parking.

The vehicle needs to be inspected by a professional mechanic. Under acceleration, it pulled very hard to the right and felt extremely floaty and unstable on the road. Even on the slightest bumps, the car gave a loose or disconnected sensation, requiring constant steering corrections to keep it straight. These issues made me concerned about the vehicle’s safety and roadworthiness.

Airport Parking and Communication: The drop-off instructions listed several parking options, including the Blue Garage (where the vehicle was picked up), the Red Garage, and Economy Parking, with instructions to park in the designated area. I dropped the vehicle off at Economy Parking, sent the host a message confirming I was all set, and provided pictures of the parking location. The host then told me I had parked in the wrong spot and needed to move the vehicle because the airport could potentially fine him. This was confusing because I had followed the parking options provided in the instructions.

The host also stated that he would now pay for the parking, which was confusing since I had already been required to pay the parking fee at pickup, something I had not experienced with previous Turo rentals. He explained that this was a policy between Turo and the Austin airport. However, according to Turo’s airport pickup policy, hosts must notify guests through Turo messaging before the trip begins if they are responsible for paying for pickup parking. I never received that notification.

Overall: While the vehicle provided adequate space and served its basic purpose of getting me to my destination, the handling issues were concerning, and the parking situation could have been communicated much more clearly. I hope the vehicle is professionally inspected and the host improves communication regarding airport parking instructions and fees. Based on these concerns, the experience was mixed.

I strongly disagree with this review. All other reviews reflect a completely different experience. The vehicle is regularly inspected, and maintenance is up to date. I noticed no issues when retrieving it. Airport parking fees are clearly addressed in Turo’s policy: guests pay at pickup, hosts at retrieval. It is obvious that airport parking is not free. This review unfairly misrepresents both the vehicle and the established parking policy.

Everything was great. Vehicle was perfect and only being a few miles away also helps. Thank you
