My experience with this trip was frustrating from start to finish. During the vehicle inspection, I discovered a hole in the tire that should have been caught before the vehicle was made available for rental. Because of this, my trip was delayed by about two hours while the tire was replaced. While the host eventually addressed the issue, it was an inconvenience that significantly impacted my plans.
The vehicle was provided with a half tank of gas, and I was specifically told that I could return it with a half tank as well. When I asked for compensation for the delay and inconvenience, the host stated there was nothing he could do but chose to fill the tank. I understood that as compensation for the two hour delay.
However, after I returned the vehicle, the host attempted to charge me for not returning it with a full tank, by sending an invoice. This directly contradicted what I was told at pickup. Had I not received the notification, I would not have known I was going to be charged. When I questioned it, the situation was brushed off as if it were funny, which I did not appreciate.
Most importantly, a vehicle should be thoroughly inspected before being rented out, especially when it involves a safety issue like a damaged tire. If I had not noticed the problem during inspection, the outcome could have been much worse. While the tire was eventually replaced, the overall experience felt unprofessional, poorly handled, and unnecessarily stressful. I cannot recommend this host based on my experience.
The guest was inconvenienced due to one of tires needing to be replaced. I stopped what I was doing to ensure that a new tire was installed, and because the previous guest did not refill the tank, I also refilled the tank for the guest so that she would have to pay for gas as well. I tried my best to accommodate her on her trip. I appreciate her for booking with me, and will make sure that my team doesn’t make mistakes like this again.

Everything was great. I enjoyed the vehicle. The only thing that kinda threw me off is my phone telling me that there was an air tag located. Other than that my trip was great.
